"Empower, build leadership and advocate for the health of the Latino community statewide with individuals and agencies committed to a tobacco-free California."

Who We Are

The California Hispanic/Latino Tobacco Education Partnership (H/LP) is a funded program of the California Department of Health Services, Tobacco Control Section (CDHS/TCS) and is housed at the University of Southern California's (USC) Institute for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research (IPR). The Partnership staff, Statewide Advisory Committee, Local Partnership Area Representatives, mini-grantees, and cadre of collaborating tobacco control partners, empower Hispanic/Latino communities throughout the state by building leadership skills, advocating for the health of the Hispanic/Latino population and mobilizing the Hispanic/Latino community to support a tobacco-free California.
